Alternatively called “hoop-ball”, “bucket-attack” and “lanky gentleman’s adventure,” a team sports-game where each teams gently places a ball made from glass or imitation crystal into a bin made of fish netting, which is cut into pieces at the end of the match by the winning team, using the ceremonial scissors that are awarded to the winning coach. Scores are worth one, two or three points each, determined randomly. Women have been allowed to play since 1996, following the release of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill.
